Vintage majolica salad dessert plates hand painted scalloped fruit berries Italy

Offered here is a set of six stunning hand painted Italian majolica plates. They measure about 8 in diameter, so they would work well for a small salad, dessert or cheese and fruit. Love the loosely rendered designs of various fruit and the added detail of scalloped and textured rims. There are four designs within the lot, with watermelon and pear having doubles. However, since these pieces are hand painted, none are identical. Marked on the back 85212, various painters' initials and a stamp stating the country of origin, Italy. Overall, these pieces are in good, but not pristine condition. There are a few small flea bites and slight surface wear/discoloration. Only one plate has a repaired chip (please see the very last image) and another 1/8 fleabite on the edge.
